Who we are
Sakaira ("we", "us") runs sakaira.com and its app, and is responsible for your personal data. For anything about your data, email [email protected].
What we store
Your account email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares with us (your name and picture).
What you send us: prompts, files you upload or import, brand kits, characters and reference images.
What you generate: the images, video and audio Sakaira creates for you.
Your usage and credit history: what you spent, on what, and when.
Purchase records. Payments are handled by Stripe, selling through Link. We never see or store your card number.
Technical data, such as your IP address, browser and error reports, used to keep the service secure and working.
Messages you send us, such as support or refund requests.
Why we use it
To provide the service you signed up for (our contract with you), to keep it secure and prevent fraud and abuse (our legitimate interest), and to keep the records the law requires, such as purchase records.
We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your prompts or files to train AI models.
Who else sees your data
We use a small number of providers to run Sakaira, and each only sees what it needs to do its job.
Supabase: accounts, credit balances and job records.
Cloudflare: file storage, network delivery and bot protection on sign-in.
Railway: hosting for our servers.
fal.ai: runs the image, video and audio models. Your prompt and input files reach the company behind the model you choose.
Stripe and Link: payments, taxes and receipts for credit purchases.
Google: sign-in, if you choose Continue with Google.
PostHog: onboarding analytics, a handful of events such as your first visit, sign-up and first generation.
Sentry: error reports, with IP addresses and personal details removed.
Resend: sign-in emails (magic links).
Some of these providers are in the United States. When your data leaves the European Union, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR allows, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We may also share data when the law requires it, or to protect Sakaira, our users or others from fraud, abuse or harm.
Your AI assistant
Sakaira works inside the AI assistant you connect it to, such as Claude or ChatGPT. That assistant is run by another company under its own privacy policy. We don't control what it stores or does with your conversations.
How long we keep it
Files: if your account has ever made a paid purchase, we keep your files permanently. If your account has never paid, we keep files for 30 days from creation, then delete them.
Brand kit: its name, colors, fonts, tone, notes and voice are kept while your account is open. Its logo and reference images, which need a paid plan, follow the same rule as the rest of your files. Deleting an image or the whole kit deletes those files right away, and deleting your account deletes the kit with everything else.
Account data: your account, credit history and job records are kept while your account is open.
When you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), we delete your files, your prompts, your login and your assistant connections right away. We keep, without your email, what the law and fraud prevention need: purchase records, credit movements and what each job cost. Feedback you sent from your assistant stays, no longer linked to you. We also keep a one-way fingerprint of your email address so the free credits are given only once per address; it doesn't contain your email address. Our AI model provider (fal) keeps its own copy of each request, with your prompt and the result, for up to 30 days, then deletes it. Deleted data leaves our backups within 7 days.
Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after you delete your account.
Your rights
You can delete your account yourself at any time from Settings in the app. You can also ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it or object to it, or ask for it in a portable format: email [email protected] from your account's address. We'll reply within one month.
If you think we got it wrong, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you signed in on app.sakaira.com. Two small cookies hold nothing but the value 1: sk_fv records that we counted your first visit, so we can measure how people find Sakaira, and sk_in tells our site you are signed in so it can show Open app. PostHog's analytics cookie ties that first visit to your sign-up.
We don't use advertising cookies, we don't run ads, and we don't sell your data.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls and trusted providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee that data will never be accessed without permission. If a breach affects you, we'll tell you when the law requires it.
Generated and uploaded files are served from long, unguessable links. Anyone who has a link can open that file, so don't share links you want to keep private.
Age
Sakaira is only for people aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if we learn we have, we delete the account.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the latest version, and we'll give notice of significant changes on this page before they take effect.
